OBLIGATION OF SERVICE

Runaway Janes agrees to deliver the services and inclusions as listed for the trip to the best of their ability. Guest acknowledges that unforeseen and unknown events can and do occur, due to no fault of Runaway Janes, which can result in not receiving the trip. In this situation Runaway Janes will refund all monies paid by Guest, except for cancellation by Guest; or other violations of these Terms and Conditions. 

 

No damages shall be due to a Guest for failure by Runaway Janes to perform obligations related to delivery of travel services if such failure is a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, volcano eruption, or other natural disasters), pandemics, epidemics, war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, cyber-attacks, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalism, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of any mode of transportation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If Runaway Janes cancels a trip due to insufficient number of Guests, prior to a tour being guaranteed, all payments are refundable.  Otherwise, all payments are non-refundable. 

 

No damages shall be due to a Guest for failure by the Runaway Janes to perform obligations related to delivery of tour services if such failure is a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, volcano eruption, or other natural disasters), pandemics, epidemics, war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, cyber-attacks, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalism, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of any mode of transportation.

It is understood by the Guest that payment made to Runaway Janes will be disbursed as required by the contractual terms that Runaway Janes has entered into with each partner, in order to provide the services agreed to for the trip to which the Guest is registered. As such, all required payments are non-refundable.  Trips lacking enough Guests will be cancelled and Guest will be notified via email. Runaway Janes is not responsible for any other costs incurred, including, and not limited to flights and extra hotel room nights. We recommend that the Guest do not make non-refundable flight arrangements prior to a trip being guaranteed unless you purchase travel insurance.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

Runaway Janes is not responsible for death, bodily injury, illness, damage, delay or other loss or detriment to person or property, or financial costs both direct and indirect incurred, or for Runaway Janes' failure to commence, perform and/or complete any duty owed to the Guest if such death, delay, bodily injury (including emotional distress or injury), illness, damage or other loss or detriment to person or property is caused by Act of God, war or war like operations, mechanical breakdowns, terrorist activities or threat thereof, civil commotions, epidemics, pandemics, labor difficulties, interference by authorities, political disturbance, howsoever and where so ever any of the same may arise or be caused, riot, insurrection and government restraint, fire, extreme weather or any other cause whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of Runaway Janes the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or an event which the Runaway Janes or the supplier of services, even with all due care, could not foresee.

 

ITINERARY DISCLAIMER

While it is our intention to adhere to the itinerary described, on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable to make alterations. All itineraries and accommodations are subject to change.  The itinerary may be altered prior to departure at the sole discretion of Runaway Janes to facilitate the trip, to protect the health and safety of our guests, and when events occur that are beyond the control of Runaway Janes.

 

Accommodations listed are subject to change and may be replaced with similar accommodations.  Once a tour has departed, itinerary changes may be necessary as a result of unforeseen circumstances, operational concerns, or concerns for guests’ health, safety, enjoyment or comfort. Any itinerary changes are at the sole discretion of Runaway Janes or our local supplier.

TRAVELER RESPONSIBILITY

Illegal drugs will not be tolerated on any trips. Possessing or using drugs not only contravenes the laws but also puts the rest of the group at risk. Guests are expected to be considerate of fellow travelers, the trip hosts, local tour guides and any people encountered. Unkind and rude behavior will not be tolerated. Runaway Janes has the ability in extreme circumstances to expel a Guest from the group and no refund will be issued.

Runaway Janes reserves the right to remove any Guest from a trip should it be determined that the Guest is adversely affecting the overall group dynamics, is a danger to herself or others, or is willfully ignoring the instructions of the Runaway Janes host or its representatives to the detriment or safety of the group. In the event a Guest is removed from a trip, Runaway Janes will not refund any monies. Transportation costs to return home, airline penalties, and any other expenses will be the responsibility of the Guest.

In the event a Guest chooses to leave a trip prior to its scheduled conclusion, Runaway Janes will not refund any monies for the unused portion of the trip. Transportation costs from departure point to the airport, airline penalties, and any other expenses will be the responsibility of the Guest.
